Chemical Composition Analysis Using
XRF (X-ray Fluorescence)
To ensure the highest purity and quality of our lime products, we use X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology for chemical composition analysis. Carbon – Sulphur Analyser:
At Uma Lime, we ensure the highest quality of our quicklime through rigorous testing using advanced Carbon Sulphur (CS) analysis. This technique measures the carbon and sulphur content in our products by combusting the sample and detecting the resulting gases. CS analysis provides rapid, precise, and reliable results, essential for maintaining the purity of quicklime. Reactivity
At Uma Lime, we employ both the T-60 Reactivity Test and the HCl Reactivity Test to uphold the highest standards of quality for our quicklime products.
The T-60 Reactivity test measures the time it takes for quicklime to reach 60°C when mixed with water, serving as a key indicator of its reactivity. A shorter T-60 time signifies higher reactivity, essential for diverse applications. Regularly conducting this test ensures consistent product quality, optimizes production processes, and guarantees that our quicklime meets customer specifications and expectations.
Similarly, the HCl Reactivity Test is integral to our quality evaluation process. Loss On Ignition (LOI):
At Uma Lime, we utilize Loss on Ignition (LOI) testing as a vital quality control measure for our quicklime products. This test determines the amount of moisture, and volatile substances present in the quicklime by measuring the weight loss after heating the sample to a high temperature, typically around 1000°C. The LOI value is essential for assessing the purity and consistency of our quicklime, as it indicates the extent of impurities and residual moisture. By conducting LOI testing regularly, we ensure that our quicklime meets the stringent quality standards required for various industrial applications.
